ఉజ్జయిని, భోపాల్ నగరం, మధ్యప్రదేశ్
మధ్యప్రదేశ్, భోపాల్ నగరం నకు పశ్చిమ దిశగా 184 కీ.మీ దూరాన ఉజ్జయిని పట్టణం కలదు. ఇచ్చట శ్రీ మహాకాళేశ్వర జ్యోతిర్లింగము మరియు శ్రీ మహాకాళీ శక్తి పీఠం దర్శించగలము. శ్రీ మహా కాళేశ్వరాలయం నకు అర కీ.మీ దూరం లో శ్రీ హర సిద్ధి మాత ఆలయం ఉంటుంది. భక్తులు శ్రీ మహా కాళీ శక్తి పీఠం గా కొలుస్తారు. రాజా విక్రమాదిత్యచే పూజించబడిన దేవత అని చెప్పుచుంటారు. ఆలయం నందు అమ్మ వారి ముఖం మాత్రమే దర్శనమిస్తుంది. అమ్మ ముఖం సింధూరంతో నిండి చల్లని చూపులుతో కరుణను ప్రసాదించుతుంది. ఆలయ ప్రాంగణములో శ్రీ యంత్రం, గణపతి, గౌరి, అన్నపూర్ణ మొదలగు సన్నిధిలు కలవు. ఆలయం పై కప్పు నందు జగన్నాత లీల విన్యాసాలు తెలియ చేసి పలు చిత్రాలు ఉన్నాయి. ఆలయ ప్రాంగణంలో రెండు పెద్ద రాతి దీప స్తంభాలు ఉన్నాయి. శ్రీ హర సిద్ధి మాతకు నిత్యం అర్చనలు, సేవలు జరుగుతాయి. విజయదశమి సందర్భముగా నవరాత్రులు ఘనంగా జరుగుతాయి.
ఉజ్జయిని నగరం నందు మహాకాళేశ్వరాలయం ప్రధానమైనది. ద్వాదశ జ్యోతిర్లింగాలలో మూడువది. ఉజ్జయిని పురం మోక్షదాయకమైన సప్త పురములలో ఒకటి. ప్రతి పన్నెండు సంవత్సరాలకు ఒకసారి క్షిప్రా నదీ తీరాన కుంభమేళ జరుగుతుంది. బడా గణేశ్, చోటా గణేశ్, విక్రమాదిత్యుని ‘’విక్రమ కీర్తి మందిరం, హరసిద్ధి దేవి (శక్తి పీఠం), గోపాల మందిరం, శని మందిరం, భర్తృగృహ, కాలభైరవాలయం, మంగళనాథ్, కాళిమాత మందిరం మొదలగునవి ఉజ్జయినిలో చూడదగినవి. వీటిని సందర్శించుటకు బస్సులు ధర్మ సత్రములు నుంచి బయులుదేరుతాయి. వీటితో పాటు టాక్సీలు/ఆటోలు కూడ దొరుకుతాయి. ఉజ్జయినికి 5 కీ మీ దూరాన (రాట్లం వైపు) శ్రీ చింతామణి గణేశ్ ఆలయం కలదు. ఇది తప్పక దర్శనీయం.
కాలభైరవాలయం: స్వామి భైరవుడు మద్యాన్ని సేవిస్తాడు. సీసాలో మద్యాన్ని స్వామి నోటి దగ్గర పెడితే శబ్దం చేస్తూ ఖాళీ అయిపోవటం విచిత్రం.
కాళిమాత మందిరం: మహా కవి కాళిదాస నాలుకపై కాళికా దేవి బీజాక్షరాలను రాసి మహాకవిగా మార్చిన ప్రదేశం ఇదే. ఇక్కడి కాళికా దేవిని ఘాట్ కాళీ అంటారు.
భర్తృగృహ: క్షిప్రా నదీ ఒడ్డున భర్తృగృహ కలదు. భర్తృహరి కవి సుభాషితాలు రాసిన గుహలుగా పిలుస్తారు.
మంగళనాథ్ ఆలయం: మంగళ నాధుడు కుజు గ్రహస్ధానం. కుజు దోష నివారణ కోసం మంగళ నాధుడుని ఆరాధించుతారు. మంగళ వారం విశేష పూజలు జరుగుతాయి.
ఉజ్జయిని నగరం నందలి శని మందిరం & గోపాల మందిరం కూడ దర్శనీయం. గోపాల మందిరం ప్రాంతములో మంచి వసతలు & భోజన శాలలున్నాయి. మహాకాళేశ్వరాలయం వెనుక భాగములో అనగా బడా గణేశ్ మందిరం వద్ద దేవస్ధానం వారి వసతి భవనములు కలవు. హరసిద్ధి దేవి మందిరం నకు సమీపములో శ్రీ రామ మందిరం కలదు. వీరు కూడ వసతి సౌకర్యములు కల్పించుతారు.
విజయవాడ - డిల్లీ రైలు మార్గములో భోపాల్ రైల్వే జంక్షన్ ఉంది. భోపాల్ కు పశ్చిమ దిశగా నాగడ్ బ్రాంచి రైలు మార్గం కలదు. భోపాల్ - నాగడ్ రైలు మార్గంలో ఉజ్జయిని రైల్వే జంక్షన్ ఉంటుంది. భోపాల్ నుంచి ఉజ్జయిని పట్టణం నకు రైలు & బస్సులు ఉంటాయి. ఉజ్జయిని రైల్వే స్టేషన్ కు సమీపంలో బస్ స్టాండ్ కూడ ఉంది. ఇక్కడ నుంచి శ్రీ మహాకాళేశ్వరాలయం మరియు శ్రీ హరసిద్ధి మాత మందిరం కు రవాణా సౌకర్యములు దొరుకుతాయి.

Ujjainnam Mahakali (Hara Siddhi Mata)

The town of Ujjain is located 184 km west of the city of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Here we can visit Sri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlingam and Sri Mahakali Shakti Peetham. Sri Hara Siddhi Mata Temple is half a km away from Sri Maha Kaleshwaralayam. Devotees measure Sri Maha Kali Shakti Peetha. Said to be a deity worshiped by King Vikramaditya. Only their face is seen in the temple. Amma's face is filled with vermilion and bestows compassion with a cold gaze. Sri Yantra, Ganapati, Gauri, Annapurna etc. are present in the temple premises. On the roof of the temple there are many pictures depicting the Lila vinyasas of Jagannath. There are two big stone lamp pillars in the temple premises. Prayers and services are regularly performed to Sri Hara Siddhi Mata. Navaratri is celebrated on the occasion of Vijayadashami.
Mahakaleshwar Temple is the main temple in the city of Ujjain. Dwadasa is the third of the Jyotirlingas. Ujjain is one of the seven cities of salvation. Kumbh Mela is held on the banks of Kshipra river once every twelve years. Bada Ganesh, Chota Ganesh, Vikramadityu's 'Vikrama Kirti Mandir, Harasiddhi Devi (Shakti Peeth), Gopala Mandir, Shani Mandir, Bhartrigriha, Kalabhairavalayam, Mangalanath, Kalimata Mandir etc. are worth seeing in Ujjain. Buses to visit them depart from Dharma Inns. Apart from these taxis/autos are also available. 5 km from Ujjain (towards Ratlam) is Sri Chintamani Ganesh Temple. It is a must see.
Kalabhairavalayam: Swami Bhairav drinks alcohol. It is strange that if you put the liquor in the bottle near the mouth of Swami, it empties out making a noise.
Kalimata Mandir: This is the place where the great poet Kalidasa wrote bijaksharas on the tongue of Goddess Kali and became a great poet. Goddess Kalika here is called Ghat Kali.
Bhartrigriha: There is Bhartrigriha on the bank of river Kshipra. Known as the caves where poet Bhartrihari wrote Subhasitas.
Mangalnath Temple: Mangal Nadu is the planet of Mars. Mangala Nadu is worshiped for the cure of Kuju Dosha. Special pujas are performed on Tuesday.
Shani Mandir & Gopala Mandir in Ujjain city are also worth seeing. Gopal Mandir area has good accommodation & restaurants. At the rear of the Mahakaleshwara temple, i.e. at the Bada Ganesh temple, there is a Devasthanam with their accommodation buildings. Near Harasiddhi Devi Mandir is Sri Rama Mandir. They also provide accommodation facilities.
Bhopal railway junction is located on Vijayawada - Delhi railway line. Bhopal has a Nagad branch railway to the west. Bhopal – Nagad railway line has Ujjain railway junction. There are trains & buses from Bhopal to Ujjain town. There is also a bus stand near the Ujjain railway station. From here transport facilities are available to Sri Mahakaleshwara Temple and Sri Harasiddhi Mata Mandir.
