మాణిక్యా దక్షవాటికే

     ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, తూర్పు గోదావరి జిల్లా, రామచంద్రపురం పట్టణం నకు సుమారు 7 కీ.మీ దూరంలో ద్రాక్షారామం అను క్షేత్రం కలదు. అగస్యుడు దక్షిణ కాశీ క్షేత్రంగా కీర్తించాడు.  క్షేత్రం నందు పరమేశ్వరుడు భీమ లింగ రూపంన స్వయంభూగా వెలిసాడు. శ్రీ భీమేశ్వరాలయ ప్రాంగణములో సతీదేవి చెక్కిలి పడి " మాణిక్యాంబ శక్తి పీఠం " గా వర్ధిల్లుతుంది. భారతఖండములో విరసిల్లిన అష్టాదశ శక్తి పీఠాలలో పన్నెండవదిగా మాణిక్యాంబది. సతీదేవి ఎడమ చెక్కిలి పడిన ప్రదేశంగా ప్రసిద్ధిగాంచినది. 

     భీమేశ్వరాలయాన్ని సా.శ. 7 - 8 శతాబ్ధాల మధ్య తూర్పు చాళుక్యుల వంశానికి చెందిన చాళుక్య భీముడు నిర్మించినట్టుగా శాసనాల ద్వారా తెలుస్తొంది. మూలవిరాట్ ను శ్రీ భీమేశ్వర స్వామిగా పిలుస్తారం. భీమేశ్వర స్వామి స్వయంభుగా వెలసిన 14 అడుగుల శుద్ధ స్ఫటికాకార లింగం.  శ్రీ భీమేశ్వరాలయం రెండు ప్రాకారాలు కలిగియుండును.  రెండవ ప్రాకారం లో శ్రీ భీమేశ్వరాలయం రెండు అంతస్ధులుగా ఉంటుంది.  పై అంతస్ధులో భీమేశ్వర లింగము మరియు దాక్షాయిని అమ్మను దర్శించగలము.  భీమేశ్వర లింగం పంచారామాలలో ఒకటిగా ప్రతీతి.  త్రిలింగలులో ఒకటి అని చెప్పుచుంటారు. తెలుగు రాష్ట్రలలో త్రిలింగములు ఉన్నాయి. ఒకప్పుడు తెలుగు ప్రాంతమును త్రిలింగ దేశంగా పిలిచేవారు.

     ప్రధానాలయం చుట్టూ నల్ల రాతిస్ధభాలు మీద మోపుతూ రెండు అంతస్ధుల వసారాలు ఉన్నాయి.  క్రింద వసారాలో వివిధ సన్నిధిలున్నాయి.  వీటిలో మాణిక్యాంబ దేవి మందిరం ఉత్తర-ఈశాన్యంలో ఉంటుంది.  అమ్మ మందిరం నకు మఖమండపం కూడ ఉంటుంది.  గర్భాలయం నందు శ్రీచక్రం యంత్రం  పైన మూలవిరాట్టు ను ప్రతిష్టించారు.  దక్షిణాభి ముఖం గా శ్రీ  మాణిక్యాంబ దేవి మంగళకరముగా, తేజోవంతముగాను దర్శనమిస్తుంది. తూర్పు చాళుక్యులు తమ ఇలవేల్పుగా మాణిక్యాంబను ఆరాధించారు.  శ్రీ ఆదిశంకరులు మాణికేశ్వరిని చక్రబిందువుపై ప్రతిష్ఠించారు. అమ్మవారికి కుంకుమార్చనలు భక్తి శ్రద్ధలతో నిర్వహించుతారు. శ్రీ  మాణిక్యాంబ దేవికి నిత్య పూజలు, శ్రావణ మాసం, కార్తీక మాసం కుంకమార్చనలు విశేషం గా జరుగుతాయి.  శరన్నవ రాత్రులు చాల ఘనంగా ఉంటాయి.  శరన్నవరాత్రులు(దేవీనవరాత్రులు) ఆశ్వయుజ శుద్ధ 

పాడ్యమి నుండి దశమివరకు జరుగుతాయి. మాఘశుద్ధ ఏకాదశీ ( భీష్మ ఏకాదశి ) రోజున శ్రీ స్వామి వారి, అమ్మవార్లకు దివ్య కల్యాణ మహోత్సవం జరుగుతుంది. మహాశివరాత్రి పర్వదినాలలో శివరాత్రి ఉత్సవాలు జరుగుతాయి.

   హౌరా - చెన్నై రైలు మార్గములో సామర్లకోట జంక్షన్,  రాజమండ్రీ రైల్వే  స్టేషన్ ఉన్నాయి.  ఇక్కడ అన్ని రైలు ఆగుతాయి.  సామర్లకోట జంక్షన్ నుంచి కాకినాడు కు 16 కీ.మీ బ్రాంచి రైలు మార్గం & రైలు సర్వీసులు కలవు.   ప్రతి 10 నిముషాలుకు బస్  సర్వీసులు కాకినాడకు దొరుకుతాయి. వీటితో పాటు షేరింగ్ ఆటోలు నిరంతరం ఉంటాయి.  

కాకినాడ - కోటిపల్లి బస్సులు ప్రతి అరగంటకు వయా ద్రాక్షారామం మీదగా బయులుదేరును.  కాకినాడ పాత బస్ స్టాండ్ & ఉప్పుటేరు ఒడ్డున గల జగన్నాథపురం బిడ్జి నుంచి ద్రాక్షారామం వరకు షేరింగ్ ఆటోలు కూడ బయులుదేరును. 

కాకినాడ టౌన్ రైల్వే స్టేషన్ నుంచి కోటిపల్లి కి రైలు బస్సులు వయా ద్రాక్షారామం మీదగా పరిమితంగా ఉంటాయి.  దాక్షారామం రైల్వే స్టేషన్ నుంచి ఆలయం  దూరం 2 కీ.మీగా ఉండును.

సామర్లకోట నుంచి రామచంద్రపురం నకు వయా బిక్కవోలు మీదగా ప్రతి గంటకు బస్సులు బయులుదేరును. రామచంద్రపురం నుంచి ద్రాక్షారామం నకు బస్సులు & షేరింగ్ ఆటోలు కలవు.  

రాజమండ్రి - కోటిపల్లి & రాజమండ్రి - యానాం బస్సులు వయా  రామచంద్రపురం, ద్రాక్షారామం మీదగా ప్రతి అర గంటకు ఉంటాయి.

     Andhra Pradesh, East Godavari district, about 7 km from the town of Ramachandrapuram, there is a field called Draksharamam. Agasya glorified it as Dakshina Kashi Kshetra. In the field, Lord Parameshwara appeared as Swayambhu in the form of Bhima Linga. In the precincts of Sri Bhimeswaralaya, Goddess Sati is enshrined and flourishes as "Manikyamba Shakti Peetham". Manikyambadi is the twelfth Ashtadasha Shakti Peetha in India. It is popularly known as the place where Sati Devi left her grave.

     Bhimeswara Temple was built in AD. Inscriptions indicate that it was built by Chalukya Bhima of the Eastern Chalukya dynasty between the 7th and 8th centuries. Mulavirat is known as Shri Bhimeswara Swamy. 14 feet clear crystal lingam of Bhimeswara Swamy Swayambhu. Sri Bhimeswara Temple has two walls. In the second Prakaram, Sri Bhimeswara Temple has two floors. On the upper floor we can visit Bhimeswara Lingam and Dakshai Amma. The Bhimeswara Lingam is represented as one of the Pancharamas. It is said to be one of the trilingas. Telugu states have trilingams. Once upon a time Telugu region was known as Trilinga country.

Surrounding the main temple are two storied vasaras resting on black stone pillars. Below are the various presences in Vasara. Of these, Manikyamba Devi Mandir is in the north-north-east. Amma Mandir also has Makhamandapam. Moolavirattu was enshrined on top of the Srichakram Yantra in the sanctum sanctorum. As the face of Dakshinabhi, Sri Manikyamba Devi appears auspicious and radiant. The Eastern Chalukyas worshiped Manikyamba as their idol. Sri Adishankar enshrined Manikeshwari on Chakrabindu. Kumkumarchans to Goddess are performed with devotion. Regular pujas to Sri Manikyamba Devi, Shravan month and Kartika month kunkamarchans are specially done. Sharannava nights are very solemn. Sharannavaratras (Devinavaratras) are Ashvayuja Shuddha

It takes place from Padyami to Dashami. On the day of Maghasuddha Ekadashi (Bhishma Ekadashi), a divine welfare mahotsava is held for Sri Swami and Ammavar. Shivaratri celebrations are held on the days of Mahashivratri.

Samarlakota Junction and Rajahmundry Railway Station are located on the Howrah-Chennai railway line. All trains stop here. A 16 km branch railway line from Samarlakota Junction to Kakinadu

Kakinada - Kotipalli buses leave every half hour via Vaya Draksharamam. Sharing autos also ply from Kakinada Old Bus Stand & Jagannathapuram Bridge to Draksharamam on the banks of the Salt Lake.

Train buses from Kakinada Town Railway Station to Kotipalli are limited via Draksharamam. The distance of the temple from Daksharam railway station is 2 km.

Buses leave every hour from Samarlakota to Ramachandrapuram via Via Bikkavolu. There are buses & sharing autos from Ramachandrapuram to Draksharamam.

Rajahmundry - Kotipalli & Rajahmundry - Yanam buses run every half hour via Ramachandrapuram, Draksharamam.
