అష్టాదశ శక్తిపీఠాలు

గయా మంగళ్య గౌరికా

     బీహార్ రాష్ట్రం, గయ పట్టణం నందు శ్రీ మంగళగౌరి శక్తి పీఠం కలదు. గయ రైల్వే స్టేషన్ కు 6 కీ.మీ దూరాన, విష్ణుపాద ఆలయం నుంచి బౌధ గయ కు పోవు రోడ్డు మార్గములో ఒక చిన్న కొండ పైన శ్రీ మంగళగౌరి ఆలయం ఉంది. తూర్పు ముఖంగా మంగళగౌరి నిర్మించబడింది. ఇక్కడ అమ్మవారికి విగ్రహరూపంలో లేదు. గర్భగుడిలో దేవత చిహ్నాన్ని కలిగి ఉంది. పురాలు ప్రకారము సతీదేవి వక్షస్థలం పడిందంటారు. మందిరంలో రాతి శిలారూపంలో వున్న వక్షోజాలను పూజిస్తారు. ఇక్కడ ఒక అఖండదీపం వెలుగుతూ వుంటుంది. మంగళగౌరికి శక్తిత్రయ అనే పేరు కూడా వున్నది. అంటే ఈమె మూడు శక్తుల నిలయం. పార్వతి, దుర్గ, సరస్వతి దేవతల కలయిక అని కూడా అర్థం చెప్పుకోవచ్చు. భక్తులుకు మంగళాన్ని కలిగించే అమ్మవారు. గర్భాలయం వైశాల్యం తక్కువగా ఉంటుంది. లోపలకు ఇద్దరూ లేక ముగ్గురు వెళ్ళడానికి మాత్రమే వీలు ఉంటుంది.  ఆలయం ముందు ఒక చిన్న  మండపం ఉంది.

     కొండ పైన ఆలయం చేరుటకు మెట్లు తో పాటు రోడ్డు కూడ కలదు. మంగళ గౌరీ ఆలయం ప్రాంగణంలో ఒక మర్రిచెట్టు వుంది. ఇక్కడికి సీతమ్మవారు వచ్చినప్పుడు ఆమె ఈ చెట్టును దీవించిందట. అందువల్ల ఈ చెట్టు కోరికలను తీర్చే అక్షయవృక్షమని భక్తులు భావిస్తారు. మంగళ గౌరి ఆలయం చాల చిన్నదిగా ఉంటుంది. శక్తి ఆలయం తో పాటు శివునికి అంకితం చేయబడిన రెండు చిన్న దేవాలయాలు మరియు మహిషాసుర మర్దిని , దుర్గ మరియు దక్షిణ కాళి యొక్క చిత్రాలు ఉన్నాయి. హోమ మండపం, పూజ సామాగ్రిలు విక్రయించు షాపులు కూడ ఉన్నాయి.  భక్తులు స్వయంగా శక్తి పీఠం నకు పూజలు చేయవచ్చును. ప్రతి మంగళవారం భక్తులు విశేషంగా ఉంటారు. చైత్ర మాసం లో ఉత్సవాలు జరుగుతాయి. విజయదశమి  ఉత్సవాలు సందడిగా ఉంటాయి.

     కొండ దిగువ భాగం నకు 2 కీ.మీ దూరన గల ఫల్గున నదీ తీరంలో విష్ణుపాద ఆలయం కలదు. గయాసురుడు అనే రాక్షసుడిని సంహరించిన ప్రదేశంలో విష్ణుపాద ఆలయం ఆలయం నిర్మించబడిందని హిందువులు నమ్ముతారు. ఆలయ గర్భాలయంలో 40 సెంటీమీటర్ల పాదముద్ర ఉంది, ఇది విష్ణు భగవానుడిది అని చెప్పబడింది. భక్తులు పాదముద్రకు పూజలు సమర్పించుతారు. ఇక్కడ చాల ఆలయాలు కలవు. వీటిలో గదాధర్ ఆలయం ముఖ్యమైనది. గయ క్షేత్రములో  హైందవులు తమ పితృదేవతులుకు కర్మలు, పిండ ప్రధానములు మొదలగునవి భక్తి శ్రద్ధలతో నిర్వహించుతారు. వీటిని  జరిపించుటకు పండాలు అధికం ఉంటారు. గయ క్షేత్రం పితృ కర్మలుకు శ్రేష్టం అని మన శాస్త్రములు ఘోషించు చుంటాయి. ఇచ్చట యాత్రికులుకుక మద్రాసు- ఆంధ్ర ధర్మశాల మొదలగు పెక్కు వసతులు కలవు.  

     గయ పట్టణం నకు సుమారు13 కీ.మీ దూరంలో బుద్ధ గయ ఉంది. ఇచ్చట అనేక బౌద్ధాలయాలు మరియు సిద్దార్ధుడు (బుద్దుడు) తపస్సు చేసిన బోది వృక్షం చూడగలం. దీనినే బోధ్ గయ అంటారు. మహాబోధి ఆలయం చుట్టూ విశాలమైన ప్రాంతం కలిగి ఉంది. ఆలయం వెనుక బోది వృక్షం కలదు. భూటాన్, మంగోలియా, చైనా, జపాన్, కొరియా, కంబోడియా, లావోస్, మయన్మార్, నేపాల్, సిక్కిం, శ్రీలంక, తైవాన్, థాయిలాండ్, టిబెట్ మరియు వియత్నాం ప్రజలు అనేక బౌద్ధ దేవాలయాలు నిర్మించారు. ఈ భవనాలు ఆయా దేశాల నిర్మాణ శైలి, బాహ్య మరియు అంతర్గత అలంకరణలను ప్రతిబింబిస్తాయి. పురాతన కాలం నుండి, బోధ్ గయను హిందువులు మరియు బౌద్ధులకు తీర్థయాత్ర స్ధలంగా ఆరాధించుతారు.

     హౌరా - డిల్లీ రైలు మార్గంలో గయ రైల్వే జంక్షన్ ఉంది. దేశం నలు మూలల నుంచి రైలు కలవు. ఉత్తరాంధ్ర & కోస్త ప్రాంతము వారికి ఒడిశా మీదగా రైలు దొరుకుతాయి. పూరి - డిల్లీ రైలు సర్వీసులు భువనేశ్వర్, గయ మీదగా ఉంటాయి. దక్షిణ ఆంధ్రా ప్రాంతము & తెలంగాణ ప్రాంతము వారు విజయవాడ, కాజీపేట మీదగా అలహాబాద్ కు రైలు ఉంటాయి. అలహాబాద్ & వారణాశి నుంచి గయ మీదగా రైలు ఉంటాయి.  గయ జం. రైల్వే స్టేషన్ బయట టాక్సీలు/ఆటోలు దొరుకుతాయి. గయ స్టేషన్ నుంచి పండాలు కూడ దొరుకుతారు. వీరితో కొంత జగ్రాత్త అవసరం.

Gaya Mangalya Gaurika

     Sri Mangalaguri Shakti Peeth is located in Gaya town, Bihar state. At a distance of 6 km from Gaya railway station, on the road from Vishnupada Temple to Boudha Gaya, there is Sri Mangalagouri Temple on top of a small hill. Mangalaguri was built facing east. Here Amma is not in idol form. The sanctum contains the icon of the deity. According to legends, Sati's bosom fell. Busts in the form of rock are worshiped in the temple. An Akhandeepam is lit here. Mangalagouri also has the name Shakhitraya. That means she is the home of three powers. It can also be said to mean the combination of Parvati, Durga and Saraswati. Amma who brings auspiciousness to the devotees. The area of ​​the uterus is small. Only two or three people are allowed inside. There is a small mandapam in front of the temple.

There is a road along with stairs to reach the temple on top of the hill. There is a banyan tree in the premises of Mangala Gauri temple. When Sitamma came here, she blessed this tree. Therefore, devotees consider this tree as a wish-fulfilling tree. Mangala Gauri temple is very small. Along with the Shakti temple are two smaller temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and images of Mahishasura Mardini, Durga and Dakshina Kali. There is also a homam mandapam and shops selling puja materials. Devotees themselves can worship Shakti Peetha. Every Tuesday devotees are special. Festivals are held in the month of Chaitra. Vijayadashami celebrations are bustling.

     2 km from the lower part of the hill, there is a Vishnu Pada temple on the bank of Falguna river. Hindus believe that the temple of Vishnupada was built on the site where the demon Gayasura was slain. The sanctum sanctorum of the temple has a 40 cm footprint, said to be that of Lord Vishnu. Devotees offer puja to the footprint. There are many temples here. Among these, Gadadhar Temple is important. In the Gaya Kshetra, Hindus perform rituals, pinda pradnams etc. with devotion to their ancestor deities. The rewards for doing this are high. Our Shastras declare that Gaya Kshetra is best for ancestral rituals. There are many facilities like Madras and Andhra Dharamshala for pilgrims.

Buddha Gaya is about 13 km away from Gaya town. Here you can see many Buddhist temples and the Bodhi tree where Siddhartha (Buddha) did penance. This is called Bodh Gaya. The Mahabodhi temple has a wide area around it. There is a Bodhi tree behind the temple. Bhutan, Mongolia, China, Japan, Korea, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Sikkim, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Tibet and Vietnam have built many Buddhist temples. These buildings reflect the architectural style, exterior and interior decoration of the respective countries. Since ancient times, Bodh Gaya has been worshiped as a place of pilgrimage for both Hindus and Buddhists.

     Gaya railway junction is located on Howrah - Delhi railway line. Trains from all corners of the country. There are trains from Allahabad & Varanasi via Gaya. Gaya Jm. Taxis/autos are available outside the railway station. Fruits are also available from Gaya station. Some vigilance is required with them.
